Men's Prayer Breakfast

The men of Cornerstone Baptist Church, visitor and member alike gather together once a month for breakfast, fellowship and group prayer.  We believe that this is an important mission for the men of a church.  God called men to be the spiritual heads of their households ( Ephesians 5 ).  In obedience, we follow Jesus' example; He taught us that God already knows all of our needs but wants us to turn to him in prayer ( Matthew 6:8 ).  The bible states that prayer is powerful ( James 4:7 ). We also know that Jesus often turned to God in prayer ( Luke 6:12 , Matthew 14:23 , Mark 1:35 , John 17 ).  We use this time to encourage each other in prayer and lift up the needs of others in obedience to God and in the example of Christ.
